About the Department:

The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was established in 2015 with the objective of providing comprehensive technical education in the areas of electrical systems, electronics and modern industrial technologies. The department provides students with knowledge and practical skills in electrical machines, power systems, electronic devices and circuits, digital electronics, control systems, instrumentation, microcontrollers and industrial automation.

With experienced faculty, well-equipped laboratories and practical-oriented teaching, the department enables students to understand both electrical power systems and electronic technologies. The department focuses on developing technical competence, analytical thinking, troubleshooting skills, innovation and industry readiness to meet the requirements of rapidly evolving electrical and electronics industries.

PEO, PO

PEO 1: To enable graduates to pursue successful careers by applying the knowledge and skills acquired during their course to meet professional and industry requirements.

PEO 2: To prepare graduates with competencies aligned to professional standards, enabling them to qualify competitive examinations, pursue higher education, and perform effectively as skilled professionals in industry.

PEO 3: To develop ethically responsible professionals and entrpreneurs who demonstrate integrity, professionalism, effective communication, and the ability to work efficiently in cross-cultural and multidisciplinary team environments while addressing societal challenges.

PO1. Basic and Discipline-specific knowledge:
Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.

PO2. Problem analysis:
Identify and analyze well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.

PO3. Design/ development of solutions:
Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.

PO4. Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing:
Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.

PO5. Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment:
Apply appropriate technology in the context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.

PO6. Project Management:
Use engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined engineering activities.

PO7. Life-long learning:
Ability to analyze individual needs and engage in updating in the context of technological changes.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSO)

PSO 1: Provide strong foundation in mathematical, science, electrical and electronics engineering to solve electrical and electronics problems

PSO 2: Understand, analyze, simulate and design electrical machines, modern electrical drives, latest electronic systems, Embedded and automation of systems and to determine their performance through testing.

PSO 3: To develop and implement electrical and electronics allied interdisciplinary projects to meet the demands of industry and to provide solutions for energy conservation and sustainability.
