
About the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC)
The Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) at GEMS Polytechnic College was established in the academic year 2020–21 under the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC) and AICTE to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and experiential learning. The council promotes a "Project to Product" culture through workshops, innovation challenges, startup awareness programs, and industry-oriented activities that encourage students to develop practical and impactful solutions.
Recognized for its consistent innovation initiatives, the institution achieved a 3-Star IIC Rating during the academic year 2023–24. The college also supports student-led startups, including Shalom Delights and Inflare Digital Marketing, empowering students to transform innovative ideas into successful ventures.
Through these initiatives, the IIC aims to nurture technology-driven entrepreneurs who contribute to society and strengthen the innovation ecosystem.
